At Top Flight Performance we believe that strength, speed, and power are key factors to improve consistently. Strength increases force production. Speed increases fast twitch muscle fibers for faster acceleration. Power allows you to move explosively.
Speed
Baseball is played at a fast pace. Athletes will be taught the correct techniques for running, change in direction, and acceleration. Speed is an important component of base stealing, fielding the ball on the infield and outfield, and running down the baseline. Improved speed leads to enhanced fast twitch muscle fiber recruitment for after acceleration and rate of force development.
